What GHRP-2 is
GHRP-2 (pralmorelin) is a synthetic growth-hormone secretagogue and one of the earliest of the ghrelin-mimetic class. It reliably stimulates growth-hormone release but is less selective than newer agents like ipamorelin, also raising cortisol, prolactin, and appetite. It is unapproved and prohibited in sport.

How GHRP-2 works
It mimics ghrelin at the GHSR-1a receptor in the pituitary and hypothalamus, triggering growth-hormone release. Because it also activates ghrelin's appetite and stress-hormone pathways more than selective agents do, it tends to increase hunger and raise cortisol and prolactin alongside growth hormone.

A worked example
A 5 mg vial reconstituted with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water gives 2.5 mg/mL. A 200 mcg dose is then 0.08 mL — about 8 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe, giving roughly 25 doses per vial before accounting for residual volume left in the vial and syringe.
