A worked example

A 5 mg vial reconstituted with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water gives 2.5 mg/mL. A 200 mcg dose is then 0.08 mL — about 8 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe, giving roughly 25 doses per vial before accounting for residual volume left in the vial and syringe.

Common questions

How is GHRP-6 different from GHRP-2 and ipamorelin?

All are ghrelin-mimetic secretagogues. GHRP-6 is the strongest appetite stimulant of the three, which some use when trying to gain weight, but it is also less selective. Ipamorelin is the cleanest of the class.

Is GHRP-6 approved?

No. GHRP-6 is a research peptide with no approved human use, and it is prohibited in sport by WADA.
