What 5-Amino-1MQ is
5-Amino-1MQ (5-amino-1-methylquinolinium) is a small-molecule inhibitor of nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT), an enzyme involved in cellular energy metabolism. It is sold by research suppliers and grouped with weight-loss peptides even though it is not one. Human evidence is essentially absent.

How 5-Amino-1MQ works

Whether that translates to safe, meaningful weight change in humans has not been tested in controlled trials.

A worked example
A 10 mg vial reconstituted with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water gives 5 mg/mL. A 100000 mcg dose is then 20 mL — about 2000 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe, giving roughly 0 doses per vial before accounting for residual volume left in the vial and syringe.
