What to ask a peptide clinic
Questions that separate a medical practice from a storefront:
- Where does the product come from? A licensed compounding pharmacy — ask which one — not a research supplier.
- Who is prescribing? A physician, NP, or PA licensed in your state, who reviews your history before prescribing.
- What monitoring is included? Baseline labs and follow-up, particularly for anything affecting blood glucose or IGF-1.
- Is the peptide FDA-approved for this use? A good clinic will tell you plainly when something is off-label or unapproved.
- What is the total cost? Consultation, medication, labs, and follow-up — not just the headline monthly price.
